Other Universe is a Norwegian comic book publisher based in Måndalen (Møre og Romsdal) founded in 2019 by Italian brothers Luca Da Broi and Michel Da Broi who took the past three years to work on their main project together: The Last Of My Days, a dark fantasy series set in a chaotic world, where an old warrior strives to accomplish his last quest, all while surviving the harsh environment surrounding him.
A story, the first of many really, that the publisher intend to share with the rest of the world, instead of keeping it to the local Norwegian scene; even though in the beginning physical copies will only be available in Norway and, probably, in Italy, the rest of the world will be able to read them on the main website where they will be published in English and French as well.
At the core of the company is the will to make the comic book industry a more sustainable market, for artists above all; Other Universe wants to make this creative profession a proper one, where someone can enjoy the fruits of his craft, without having to renounce to a social life or a comfortable living.
The publisher can now only follow a single project, mostly due to its restricted team, nevertheless, in the future new series will be added with discretion, since the aim will always be “superb stories and amazing arts”; that said, though, Other Universe will venture in different medias, always keeping comics as a focal point and the products’ standards to their highest.
